About Us

About Ascent Group

Ascent Group Co., Ltd is a China-based supply partner for acrylic monomers, serving coatings, adhesives, textile, paper and polymer producers who buy on specification rather than on headline price. We keep the product range narrow so that every order is handled by people who know the material.

For Satellite Butyl Acrylate we work from producer-side allocation to your unloading point, matching packaging to your site, confirming the delivered batch against its certificate of analysis, and preparing the hazardous-goods paperwork that Class 3 shipments require.

Focused Range

Acrylic monomers and their derivatives, sold to industrial buyers.

Batch Control

Every delivery traced to the certificate of analysis of its batch.

Export Handling

Drums, IBC totes and ISO tanks, documented for sea freight.

Product

Product Overview

Satellite Butyl Acrylate is n-butyl acrylate, CAS 141-32-2: a colourless, transparent liquid monomer with a characteristic odour. As a soft monomer it copolymerises readily with harder monomers such as methyl methacrylate, styrene, vinyl acetate and acrylonitrile, which is why it appears throughout acrylic emulsion and solution systems.

The grade is supplied inhibited with MEHQ at 10–20 mg/kg to suppress premature polymerisation during storage and sea freight. Each shipment is released against a certificate of analysis for the delivered batch, so incoming goods inspection can be matched to a specific lot.

Industries

Applications

Butyl acrylate is chosen where flexibility, adhesion and weather resistance have to survive real service conditions. These are the systems it most often goes into.

Colour mixing equipment on industrial shelving in a coatings plant

Coatings & Paints

Soft-monomer backbone for acrylic emulsions and solvent-borne binders, improving flexibility, adhesion and exterior durability in architectural and industrial films.

Rolls of adhesive tape produced with acrylic polymer binders

Adhesives & Sealants

Base monomer for pressure-sensitive and laminating adhesives, contributing tack, peel strength and low-temperature flexibility to the finished bond.

Worker operating machinery in a textile finishing factory

Textile & Leather

Binder component in pigment padding and fabric finishing, and in leather top coats, where soft hand-feel and wash resistance are the targets.

Stacked paper roll ends in a paper mill warehouse

Paper & Packaging

Latex binder for paper and board coating, improving foldability, gloss and print reception in packaging and graphic board grades.

Transparent polymer granules held in the hand

Plastic Modification

Copolymerised into acrylic impact modifiers and processing aids that tune impact strength and melt behaviour in rigid PVC and engineering compounds.

Industrial rubber belts stored on warehouse shelving

Synthetic Rubber

Comonomer for acrylic and nitrile rubber grades, raising heat and oil resistance in seals, gaskets and industrial hose.

Advantages

Why Choose Us

Buying a Class 3 monomer is a documentation exercise as much as a price negotiation. Our process is built around that reality.

  • Single-product focus. Acrylic monomer supply handled by specialists, not buried in a general trading catalogue.
  • Documentation with the goods. Technical data sheets, certificates of analysis and safety data sheets are issued with each order.
  • Packaging that matches your site. Drums, IBC totes and ISO tanks selected against your volumes and unloading equipment.
  • Export handling in-house. UN 2348, Class 3 paperwork, labelling and container loading arranged before the vessel closes.

Logistics

Packaging & Delivery

Butyl acrylate ships as a stabilised Class 3 flammable liquid under UN 2348. Packaging is chosen to match your consumption rate and the way your plant can take material in.

  • 180 kg / 200 L steel drums. Palletised for workshop and small-batch consumption.
  • IBC totes. For medium-volume users with pump or gravity unloading.
  • ISO tanks. Bulk delivery for continuous plant consumption and tank-farm intake.
  • Storage guidance. Keep in the dark below 36 °C in a closed container, and verify MEHQ level before extended storage.
Questions

FAQ

The points buyers most often raise before the first order of Satellite Butyl Acrylate.

What is Satellite Butyl Acrylate used for?

It is a soft acrylic monomer, used mainly as a binder component in coatings and adhesives, and in textile, paper, plastics and rubber applications where flexibility and adhesion matter.

Which specification does it meet?

Typical purity is ≥99.5% by GC with MEHQ inhibitor at 10–20 mg/kg. Always confirm the current specification and the certificate of analysis of the delivered batch before release to production.

How is it packaged?

180 kg and 200 L steel drums, IBC totes and ISO tanks. Packaging is agreed against your order volume, storage space and unloading equipment.

How should it be stored?

Store in the dark below 36 °C in a tightly closed container, away from ignition sources and oxidisers. Check the inhibitor level if material is held for an extended period.

Can you provide TDS, COA and MSDS?

Yes. Technical data sheets, certificates of analysis and safety data sheets are issued with each order, and can be sent ahead of shipment on request.

How do I request a price and lead time?

Send the required quantity, packaging preference and destination port through the contact details below. A quotation with current pricing and shipping schedule follows.
